This is a very good ramp. I purchased it to load and unload my 2005 Bombardier Traxter, which weighs approximately 800 pounds with gear, into the bed of my Toyota Tundra. The ramp is very sturdy and moves very little when secured to the truck with the safety straps. You can certainly go cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Sometimes safety costs a little more.
